Guest lecture by Dr. Danielle Arigo

24.05.2024

The faculty of psychology has invited Dr. Danielle Arigo of Rowan University (US) to give a talk on health behavior effects of social comparison.

Prompts for social comparison are increasingly integrated into digital health technologies and health behavior change interventions. However, the impact of social comparison on health behavior remains poorly understood. This lack of understanding may hinder the effectiveness of chronic disease prevention and intervention strategies. In her lecture, Dr. Arigo will present innovative methods to explore how social comparison influences health behavior, introducing a new research paradigm.
